Telling a Story
To tell a story you have to be totally aware of the surroundings you live in. Watch a flower move in the breeze, look at a tall tree and imagine what the view must be like at the top, see the ocean and wonder what life is like below the surface.
The sand at the beach has a story. How did it get there? What about the shells on a beach, what’s their story? In stories you can add life to these things, personality, purpose.
You have to be observent to tell stories and place yourself in the situation of sand, a chair, carpet, anything. What would it be like to be a chair? To comfort someone that sits in the chair.
To tell a story about a chair you must be the chair and imagine what a chair must think and feel.
That makes for a good story.
